Uh, yeah, so food is good. It gives your body energy to do things, which is kind of important if you play derby. Otherwise, you might get dizzy or sluggish, and that’s a not-fun place to be.

Additionally, food makes your brain go, which is also important. As I was reminded this evening, I get really, really stupid when I don’t eat enough, and that’s no help to anyone.

So, yeah, note to self: eat your calories, they are your friend. It’s good advice.

(also: corn on the cob is an effin’ delicious part of a balanced dinner. In case you weren’t aware.)
